Pocahontas
Description: Who has not heard of the legend of Pocahontas and how she saved the life of John Smith? She was an early convert to Christianity and married John Rolfe a successful tobacco planter. She died March 21, 1617 and was buried at St. George's Church in Gravesend England. Her body was recently returned to the US by members of her tribe.
