About The Evaluator

The owner/evaluator of the Thomas Sims Graves Awards is Michael Graves. I am 51 years of age and the Webmaster of The Ancestors and Descendants of Thomas Sims Graves. My training and background is in marketing. My awards program has grown out of my desire to repay the kindness of all those that have chosen to recognize the many hours of work that has gone into the development of this site. There are many sites deserving of praise and recognition for making the web a better place for all to enjoy.

The system I'll be using for evaluations is a Power Spec 2500, with a Pentium 4 processor, Widows XP, a broadband connection with a 17-inch flat panel monitor, Logitech Keyboard and a wireless mouse.

My current ratings are AS! 5.0 with a W3CAR compliance badge, WebsAwards Level 4, UWSAG level 4, MSATC Level 2 and I am an Astral Awards Peer.

I was an evaluator for The Crystal Sea and The Witheridge Awards Programs. My site is XHTML 1.0 and AAA compliant.

I am an APEX and Ethic’s Pledge Member as well as a member of the W3 Compliant Sites.

Compliments, Concerns or Complaints may be directed to me. All decisions are final; I will strive to be fair, open and honest to all that apply. This is after all, a human function. I may use software to check links, keyword relevance, etc., but the award or no award is based on a combination of the score and my opinion.
