The Inscription Reads: The remains of that excellent woman Mrs. Ann Greaves, Daughter of George Birds of Statonhall gent and relic of John Greaves of Woodhouse Esquire lie here interred. Her better part to blissful regions ascended the 25th day of May in the year of our Lord 1700. To whole faithful memory this marble is dedicated by her brother Mr. Thomas Birds.
